Pet health and vaccinations
When choosing to board with Hounds Holiday, owner represents that their pet is in good health, is up to date on all necessary vaccinations and does not have any conditions or have been exposed to potential risks within the last 14 days. Pet must be current on Rabies, Bordetella and distemper vaccinations. Owner agrees to show a copy of record of vaccinations. All dogs should be on flea and tick prevention and be free of these before boarding. Owner understands that Hounds Holiday is a business and that there are other families, pets and health to consider.
Payment
Owner agrees to have the rate paid, in full, on the date pet is picked up. Owner agrees to pay any costs or charges for special services requested or needed for the pet during the time pet was in care. There is a one-time tax and registration fee of $25 per animal.
Cancellation/Illness
Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to reservation date. If it's less than 48 hours, one night will be charged. Owner agrees to notify Hound’s Holiday in advance if there's any change in the pet’s pickup date.
If pet becomes ill or Injured
In the unlikely event that your pet may require medical attention, Owners agrees to allow Hounds Holiday to obtain medical treatment for pet if they appear ill, injured, or exhibits any other behavior that would reasonably suggest that the pet may need medical intervention. Owner agrees to be fully responsible for the cost of such treatment. Owner gives permission to Hounds Holiday to use owners vet or nearest suitable facility of his choosing.
Food and Medication
Owner is required to supply their own food for boarding. If the food runs out, house food will be given at $5 per meal.
Medicine and allergies
Medications can be administered at an additional cost of $5 a day.
Media
Owner agrees that pet may be videotaped or photographed, and that pet’s image may be used in any social media or promotion done by Hounds Holiday Dog Boarding.
Right to refuse
Hound’s Holiday reserves the right to refuse admittance to any pet or dismiss any pet that does not meet or maintain the health or temperament, or other boarding standards and that the determination shall be made at the sole discretion of Hound’s Holiday staff.
Spay/Neuter
In season dogs will not be excepted. Any dog that is left in tack will not be socialized with other dogs.
Personal Property
I understand that Hound's Holiday Dog Boarding is located on personal property. The family house, yard and other outbuildings are off limit. PLEASE call ahead before showing up outside of business hours as our family dogs are likely to be loose because of the underground fence. Our dogs will not hurt you but have been known to "greet" our friends rather obnoxiously by jumping up on them. We also like to have a controlled first meeting with your pet for it's safety and to ensure their visit is as stress free as possible.
Legalities waiver
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read the rules, restrictions and waiver and understand its contents. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, whether involving breach of contract or negligence claim, shall be settled by arbitration. If parties do not mutually agree upon an arbitration an arbitrator, each party shall select an arbitrator, and the arbitrator shall together choose a third arbitrator. The arbitrator may, and his or her discretion award the costs of arbitration, reasonable lawyer’s fees, and other such costs. Of enforcement to the prevailing party. By signing this contract and leaving pet at the kennel, owner certifies the accuracy of all information given about said pet, and that kennel's liability shall in no event exceed $200 per animal boarded. Therefore, I hereby voluntarily release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Hound’s Holiday, It's agents, successors, heirs and employees from any and all liability claims, demands actions which are related to or arise from the services provided from Hounds Holiday Dog Boarding.
